Alteration to the Open Banking Implementation Schedule

The Central Bank published Resolution BCB 109 of 24/06/2021, which established a new schedule for the implementation of data and service sharing by institutions participating in Open Banking.

Check out the new schedule below:

  • 15 July 2021: Start of phase 2, with the exchange of registration and transaction data between institutions, such as products and services associated with customer accounts
  • 30 August 2021: Start of phase 3, with the sharing of transfer services by Pix
  • 15 December 2021: Start of phase 4, with the exchange of information between institutions on other financial products, such as foreign exchange, investments, pension plans and insurance
  • 15 February 2022: Sharing of transfer services between accounts of the same bank and TED
  • March 30, 2022: Sharing the sending of proposals for credit operations to customers who adhere to open banking
  • 31 May 2022: Sharing customer data on other financial transactions, such as foreign exchange, investments, pension and insurance
  • 30 June 2022: Sharing of payment services by bill of exchange
  • September 30, 2022: Shared account debit services
