The area is coordinated by partner Giancarllo Melito, who has worked with the firm for over 22 years. He is a Doctor in Law (cum laude) by the Law School of the University of São Paulo - USP and by the University of Angers / France (2013) and Master in Contract Law (cum laude) by the University of Angers / France - Diplôme d'Études Approfondies - Transdisciplinaire des Actes Juridiques (2005). He is also a Professor of Contractual Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV Law post-graduation courses (since 2009). Since 2016, as a consequence of his activity and practices, he has been mentioned by Análise Advocacia 500 magazine as a prominent lawyer in several areas of the law, as well as in the category of most admired lawyer in the State of São Paulo. Also, since 2018 he has been mentioned by the American magazine ACQ Law Awards - Who's Who Legal as a reference in Brazil, in the area of Fintechs.
