The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) has placed on public hearing the draft of a new Instruction providing for the new procedures relating to sanctioning notices issued by the CVM.
The draft focuses on matters related to the investigation of administrative violations, the rite of administrative sanctioning proceedings (PAS), the application of penalties, the term of commitment and the administrative agreement in supervisory proceedings.
As it is in public hearing phase, the Regulated Parties can submit suggestions and comments in relation to the draft till 17.08.2018.
