The Federal Revenue of Brazil (Receita Federal do Brasil) has published in its annual inspection report that it intends to transfer information from DECRED to e-Financeira.
The measure intends to simplify the ancillary obligations that have been imposed on means of payment companies.
According to the aforementioned report, considering that e-Financeira was created to gradually consolidate different types of information, in 2023 the Undersecretariat for Inspection (Subsecretaria de Fiscalização) plans to discuss with society the evolution of Normative Instruction RFB 1,571, of 2015, including the definition of a new module referring to means of payment data. The idea is to modernize and rationalize the way this data is captured, and no longer use the Declaration of Credit Card Operations (Declaração de Operações com Cartões de Crédito/Decred) mentioned in Normative Instruction RFB 341, of July 15, 2003.
