BTLAW specialists integrate Brazilian delegation in Primerus conference to debate the future of Law in the world

The meeting will be attended by lawyers José Luis Leite Doles and Karin Klempp Franco, partners of the law firm that represents Primerus in Brazil

Two specialists from BTLAW, a law firm with 64 years of experience in Brazil and in the international market, will join the Brazilian delegation at the Primerus Annual Conference, in Boston (USA).

The meeting will be attended by BTLAW partners José Luis Leite Doles and Karin Klempp Franco, who make up the team that represents Primerus in Brazil. The conference brings together international exponents of the legal sector and renowned experts in various areas of law.

The purpose of the event is to expand the exchange of experiences among legal operators from all over the world and to create opportunities for the development of new business in the member firms.

José Luis Leite Doles holds a Law Degree from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and was part of the Legal Department of the then BankBoston-Brazil for 17 years, 14 of which as Legal Director. Before that, he was Senior Counsel at Citibank-Brazil. He was also a director at ANBID - National Association of Investment Banks (2003/2006), where he coordinated the Legal and Compliance Committee. Since 2007, Doles is a partner at BTLAW and responsible for the Banking and Capital Markets department.

Karin Klempp Franco has over 20 years of experience in business law in Brazil and abroad and works mainly in the areas of intellectual property and data privacy, with legal work developed for companies such as European and Asian multinationals. She is a professor of business law at Facamp and also acts as mediator and arbitrator. This year, she joined the BTLAW team as coordinator of the intellectual property and data privacy area.
