Real Digital is now DREX

The Central Bank announced, on the last 7th, the change in the name of the Brazilian digital currency. The Real Digital is now Drex.

In view of the change, one of the doubts that remains is: When there is a change in nomenclature, is there a need to change the contracts?

And the answer is: It depends!

If there is a change in the definition or a determination by the regulator to this effect, yes; otherwise, it is not necessary. However, it is important that contracts are constantly updated so that their terms reflect the applicable standards.

And what about Drex, I wonder what's next for the world of contracts?
