PIX: Communication Procedures for Contract Resolution and Voluntary Disconnection

BCB's Normative Instruction 76 of 4/2/20 brought the procedures for communication to the Central Bank in cases of contractual rescission between the participant in charge and the contracting participant and in case of orderly withdrawal of a participant from the Pix.

In the event of termination of the contract due to lack of compliance by the contracting participant, in addition to communicating the expected date of termination, the participant in charge shall expressly indicate to the Central Bank the item that has not been met.

In the case of voluntary withdrawal, the participant must indicate the expected date of withdrawal and the actions planned so that there is no impact or damage to their customers, including the communication plan;
