The Central Bank edited, on 25.01. 2022, the Normative Instruction BCB nº 231/2021 changing some procedures regarding the sending of documents and information related to the instruction and with the examination of authorization processes in the Central Bank.
The amendment deserves attention, since it requires that the documents must contain the name, CPF registration number and respective digital signature of the signatories.
Moreover, it specifies the criteria that must be observed when signing documentsI - digital certificate issued by Certifying Authority of ICP-Brasil, in the PAdES standard; or II - gov.br account with security level and silver or gold access.
The normative rule amends BCB Normative Instruction 77/2021, which deals with the subject and will come into force on March 25, 2022.
