The Central Bank published on 06 May 2021 two new Resolutions regarding Payment Institutions.
Resolution BCB nº 92, of 2021 brought new provisions on the use of the Accounting Standard for Institutions Regulated by the Central Bank of Brazil (Cosif) by consortium administrators and payment institutions and on the structure of the list of Cosif accounts to be observed by financial institutions and other institutions authorized to operate by the Central Bank, which came into force on January 1, 2022
BCB Resolution no. 93 of 2021, in turn, established new regulations for Internal Audit activities in consortium administrators and payment institutions. The normative will come into force on June 1st 2021, revoking Circular 3,856/2017, which currently provides on the subject.
